UWC-USA Applicant Portal

We’re excited that you’re thinking of applying to the United World College movement! The UWC experience will provide you with an excellent education along with the tools to make the world a better place, not to mention the opportunity to meet and make friends with people from all over the world. 

The selection process consists of three stages: 

1. Stage 1 is the electronic application, which you can access on this site. Each application is carefully read by two readers who will make a decision on whether the student will continue to the next stage.

2. Stage 2 is a video interview with a member of the Committee as well as a UWC graduate. This is our chance to get to know you better and to answer your questions about UWC. 

3. Stage 3 is our finalist event. Students with the strongest interviews will be invited to participate in a Finalist Weekend event, usually held on campus at UWC USA. This gives us the opportunity to meet you in person as you take part in a variety of activities and interact with other future UWC students.

Our application deadlines are:

Early Notification: November 1, 2024

Regular Notification: January 1, 2025
